My name is Alyssa Okada and I’m one of the trainers at Platinum Fitness. My passion for fitness was sparked at a time in my life when I desperately needed something to make me feel good. It also came at a time when, unbeknownst to me, I needed to grow as an individual in so many ways. What I learned from fitness was much more about internal beauty than the physical aesthetics we are all so conditioned to strive for. I discovered how far I could push myself both mentally and physically, and finally found the confidence I was lacking for so long. This journey has taken me down many different paths, but the one that’s stuck with me the most is my passion for helping others feel GOOD. Life is all about the ups and the downs, and I love being there for people during both of those times. I can teach you everything that I know about strength training, HIIT, TRX, etc. but I’ve found the most important thing I can teach someone is how to embrace fitness as a journey, not just as an ends to a mean. I absolutely love what I do and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion with you!
