Home Christian Sorpassa

My name is a Christian Sorpassa and I’m honored to be a part of the Platinum Fitness Team with so many passionate individuals!

I’m from the southwest suburbs of Chicago where I grew up playing soccer and running track & field. Once I moved to Iowa for college I started working out in the gym and I discovered my love for fitness. During my time there I continued to educate myself on training and nutrition both in and out of the classroom. I became certified as a NASM Personal Trainer and ISSA Specialist in Fitness Nutrition and spent 5 years as a trainer and group exercise instructor.

I graduated from The University of Iowa in 2017 with B.A. in Health & Human Physiology and I am currently attending The University of Tampa in pursuit of my M.S. in Exercise & Nutrition Sciences.

On the side, I compete as a Men’s Physique Bodybuilder and coach other athletes in Bikini, Figure, and Men’s Physique. Outside of the gym I’m a guitarist, a snowboarder, and a mountain biker who loves to travel.

My mission is to share my love for fitness with as many people as I can and motivate those individuals find the enjoyment in making fitness a part of their everyday lifestyle.
